Not a box of chocolates
Not a script filled card
Not a dozen roses
Nor a new car

Love is an exhausted husband willing to take apart a Passap E6000 three times, after working off and on for days to get to this point, because we found 5 more bad channels which kept grabbing needles and pushers and refusing to let them knit. The 51 we already stripped from a Duo 80 apparently weren’t enough.

After it was reassembled the second time, we couldn’t get the front pusher spring to slide to the end of its slot. Turns out two needle channel shims had slipped down between the plastic plates.

Our dining room table has looked like this for weeks.

See my refurbished beauty now.

The electronic console and the remaining parts of the Auto Color Changer will have to wait until I’ve thoroughly knitted all the needles in all the channels to make sure we are good to go. I did successfully knit a small full needle rib swatch last night.

Happy Valentine’s Day Dear. You make my machine knitting life possible.
