Never Underestimate The Felting Capacity Of A Boy Scout
Remember my inaugural pair of socks from my first blog post? This is what they look like now after a boy scout snow cave outing. Worn only one weekend and never been washed.
I originally made these to fit my adult size 9 foot, not a kid size 7. I especially like the After-Thought heel. Now it can’t even reach its rightful place on an 11 year old boy.
It’s hard to see in the picture, but the ribbing on one of the legs is non-existent. How he was able to completely felt one and only partially felt the other while wearing both in the same shoes for the same amount of time is beyond me.
He did say his feet stayed warm.
