Wow, I need you working on my needlesofsteel.org.uk website methinks! What an excellent, useful, post. Mind if I link this page to my site?
I did have all the Susy Ranner vids linked before she took them offline, and I have not had chance to repair them all, I’m guessing they all changed address. Working full-time is a PITA sometimes!
Please, lInk away.
Susy still has a lot of videos available, more than what I’ve linked. I don’t now if the addresses changed or not - probably so since she deleted and re uploaded. I’m glad she decided to keep blogging.

I just had a beautiful device, the kint leader kl 119 for my kh 965. unfortunately without a user manual!!!!!!!
Could anyone help me with finding a copy of the instructions manual ?!
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for linking!
I’ll put more videos up, but probably after the holidays, the way life is going. I have lists of things I’d like to do, but work full-time and am always frantic in December.
I follow you, and enjoyed the new posts! My favorite blog post on your site is the wonderful instructions for rehabbing sponge bars.

Hi Isobell
Have you tried on Ebay for a Brother 950/i or the Preloved Website.
(I am also from Scotland.)
Haven’t used my knitting machine brother 950i for a number of years and am appalled to find I’ve forgotten how to programme it. It would be great if you could put up a video for it.Really enjoyed the 2 videos for the garter carriage.I shall have to have a go soon
I have aPassap Duomatic and it came with a knit radar and a Deco forma.

I’m a new machine knitter (KH239). I live in Australia.

Hi: Can anyone tell me what ribber I need to purchase for a brother profile 500? I just purchased this machine for a total of 82.oo on e-bay. I took it all apart cleaned up the needles wiped it down replaced the sponge bar and blew the dust out of it with my husbands compressor put it all back together and it runs like a champ. I have contacted a couple of websites asking about the ribber and have gotten 2 different answers. One website even told me that my machine was to old and not to invest any money in it. Well I would still like to purchase a ribber any way so if you have any information I’d like to hear from you. Thanks Debi

how do I measure a sleeve on the knit radar to fit the armhole of the sweater?
Hi! I live in Devon, near Exeter and have just been given a fairly old knitting machine, Empisal 321. I would LOVE to learn how to machine knit!
Does anyone know of a course of instructions that is available in this area?
Or is anyone willing to show me hands on how to do it to get started, for renumeration? I am prepared to travel.
Even when I am assembling it I don’t seem to be able to push the carriage bar from left to right, when some needles are pulled out to the D position according to the manual, the needles bend against the Sinker arm edge.
Without the Sinker arm attached the carriage moves fairly smoothly from left to right etc. , with the needles in any position. I have checked several times, the Sinker arm is attached properly.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Telsa

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have just brought a Passap 3000, and it won’t keep the needles in the right place! It just keeps on putting them back into non working postion. I have followed every instruction to the letter but when the lock goes over the bed it does the above. This is casting on I have been trying to do.
If anyone can help with this problem I would be really grateful, as I have run out of ideas to why it is doing this.
I would like some information onn the 3000A motor, repair, troubleshooting etc. There doesn’t seem to be anything out there.

This is an incredible website. I wish that all of us machine knitters could get together (with our machines) and have a great time. I have an old Brother KH588 machine with ribber . I am having troubles with stitches falling off my ribber after I have ribbed for a few rows?
Any words of advise out there?
Thanks
Mary
