Advance registration for the Fall Festival Knitting Machine Seminar is August 31, 2008. The event is hosted by Needle-Tek and it is in Clackamas, Oregon. Iris Bishop will be teaching.

Free stitch pattern downloads in Designaknit, Wincrea, and gif formats for both machine knitters and hand knitters.

Free knitting stitch design sofware for machine or hand knitting. It works best with a Passap E6000 knitting machine however it can also be used with limitations by other knitters. Windows only.

You can run Designaknit on an Apple computer as long as it has an Intel chip inside. Simply install Windows via Apple’s free Boot Camp software from Apple.

Dak is a wonderful tool for mapping out a charted design. Use the Check Floats feature to make sure no color is carried too far in the design.

My first attempts at taking a hand knitting pattern from Vogue Knitting and translating into a machine knit pattern with Designaknit based on the schematics.
