Passap Duomatic 80 Manual Free Download PDF

In trolling the internet this morning I stumbled upon a Passap Duomatic 80 manual pdf someone uploaded to Scribd.com

It was my first time there so I had to “join” before the download would begin. Not knowing much about the site, I used a disposable email address. If spam results, I’ll delete the address. Also, since I use an iMac, I don’t worry about viruses. The site appears to be above board. If you have used it before, I’d love for you to drop a note in the comments with your experiences.

Once joined, the download proceeded automatically without a hitch. I looks like it is the complete manual.

Wow, thanks for spotting that! I don’t have one, but I am always interested in finding out about other machines!

And is it just me, or is the woman on the cover really cute?! :)

Thanks for passing this on! I downloaded and read this this morning, and while I just got the Pinkie, there was helpful info here too. There may be someone down the road I can pass this on to as well. Who knows, the green machine might land in my lap one day too…one can never have too much knitting information.
Thanks again,
Bright :D

dori,

I assume you have the pinkie? The free download for the Duo 80 manual is a wonderful fit for you. All the Duo 80 added was an HX cam setting to knit circular fair isle. Everything else on the machine is indentical in function as far as I know. Your yarn mast may look different depending on how old your pinkie is.

If you click on my “Passap” blog category to the right, you will find posts on how to deep clean your duomatic as well as how to thread it. The Mary Weaver book is a keeper and still sells very well on the used market.

Your machine can definitely be used manually. In the beginning, that is the best way to learn. Only the E6000 can be connected to a standard computer. There was a Form Computer attachment for shaping - I have no experience with it and it was a totally optionally piece of equipment to help shape a garment.

My mom has a Passap Duomatic Kitting Machine in her basement. It was her sister’s and she was storing it for lack of space. My mom has no idea how to use it or where any kind of instruction manual would be. I know the machine has never been used but has been in her basement for 25+ years - mostly covered. Does anyone know how I might be able to find the model number on the thing? How to get an instruction manual? Know anyone who would consider buying it - pretty cheap! She just wants it out of her basement!! We are located in Michigan.

I need to have my Passap Duo 80 serviced as it keeps dropping stitches at the left side. Can you help?

I shall be most grateful for any suggestions.

Yours sincerely

Jean ‘Adkins

Most of us are on our own for servicing. You can use this free guide if you need to take apart and deep clean.
